1-2 DAYS PRIOR TO THE WORSHIP SERVICE
- Publix Bakery:
Purchase two round loafs of bread per worship service. One loaf is uncut for the Pastor to break during communion. Have the other loaf SLICED for intinction. We recommend using a loaf that has cooled off for the slicing machine. Instruct them to slice the bread once, then rotate it and slice it a second time perpendicular to the first. The result is a long-cubed bread that is easily held without congregants dipping their fingers in the juice.
- Reimbursement: If you would like to be reimbursed for communion elements, please turn your receipts into Karen Geeter along with a reimbursement form (available online). Alternatively, you may turn in your receipt with a note to Karen that you’d like to make the amount a contribution to the church.
