It was June 21, 1828, when NPC began -- not in Newnan but Bullsboro, a trading post two miles east of present-day Newnan.
The settlement had been the county seat of Coweta County before the town of Newnan was incorporated,
also in 1828. Fifteen Presbyterian pioneers, eight women, and seven men
met to organize a church, and for the next six years, they met in a log schoolhouse in Bullsboro.
Since then, our church has grown and changed.
God's grace empowers us to welcome, love, and serve
in the name of Jesus Christ.
We celebrate our faith with vibrant, traditional worship on Sundays.
We celebrate communion monthly and the table is open. All are welcome to commune with us. Childcare is available
every Sunday for Bible Studies and worship services.
We are a community of believers that aspire to live up to these core values:
The PC(USA) is governed by our constitution, which is made up of two parts: the Book of Confessions and the Book of Order.
The Book of Confessions is a collection of historical statements detailing what we as a church believe.
The Book of Order is made up of four sections: the Foundations of Presbyterian Polity, the Form of Government, the Directory of Worship, and the Rules of Discipline.
God's grace empowers us to welcome, love, and serve in the name of Jesus Christ.
