Outreach Update

For April, our outreach focus is Hope Global.    Hope Global Initiative is a 501(c3) corporation founded by Lee Ayers in 2016. By being an active member of the community, Lee began to see that what people needed was more than just a helping hand. He realized that what the community was missing was a deeper awakening of hope. 


HGI is a community development corporation that provides comprehensive services and programs for the disadvantaged and underserved families in communities locally and around the globe. We strongly believe that we should help people develop their skills rather than focus on their deficits. If a sense of individual responsibility is established in the community, people can do life together with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Only then can we nurture, support, strengthen, and transform communities by building strong families and healthy, safe neighborhoods.


HOW YOU CAN HELP!


Money Donations for the basketball & soccer court: Lets emphasize whatever amount is donated,  Atlanta United will match!! This is the professional soccer club in Atlanta. 


Stock the Pantry:  Healthy snacks for their outdoor therapy, and normal kid snacks for their snack room. "Whenever you go to the grocery store, double what snacks you are getting for your children or yourself, and drop off at the church!"


Healthy snacks: water bottles, gatorade, nuts, trail mix, granola, fruit cups, beef jerky.   Snack Room Snacks: chips, gummies, goldfish, etc. 

Donate to Hope Global

Great Works

We are thrilled to have donated nearly $2000 to Habitat for Humanity in February! These funds will help the organization to buy more property making more affordable homes possible!! Way to go! Stay tuned for more information on a possible group build this summer.


Coweta FORCE also appreciates the generosity of our congregation with nearly another $2000 in donations. FORCE was recently in the news for all the great work they are doing for our community that suffers from addiction. They are not only providing advocates in the Emergency Dept. but now individuals have 24/7 access to the important medication, Narcan, to help prevent overdoses.
